Word International Ministries is helping victims of the typhoon Ondoy. Below is an email with information from our headquarters in the Philippines.

Dear Brethren,

We will be launching relief operations in Metro Manila for the victims of the Ondoy.  Several of our members have also been affected with homes submerged and without food.  The sites of our Seeds of Hope feeding centers are also affected needing supply of fresh foods, clothing and slippers.  The students of our schools may need help also especially those living in the low lying areas.

This letter is an appeal for you to communicate with your churches to raise funds to address the needs of thousands of people in Metro Manila.  We do not have reports from our people in the Bulacan, Pampanga, Batangas, and Laguna areas yet.

A Response Center will be formed in our Makati Offices to address this.  Encourage your people to give as much as they can outside of their tithes.  We seek your continuing prayer for our people back home and we do not cease until we have made a breakthrough. Thank you and God bless you.
